Arching stems hold fragrant white blooms with a deep maroon throat. Peacock orchid, the elegant late-summer cousin of the bold gladiolus.
Dangerous to cats
Toxic to cats and dogs, and the corms (the bulbs) hold the most toxin. Drooling, vomiting, lethargy and diarrhoea are the signs. Plant where a dog does not dig, and store lifted corms out of reach.
